In order to have a peaceful society, community members need to have the skills required for working out differences. They need to be aware of the alternatives to violence for resolving conflict. Art is the perfect medium through which to learn and practice these skills. Shanti provides that and much more thanks to the generosity and caring of many individuals and foundations.
